ABOUT ME

HI, I'M JASMINE

an accredited coach, facilitator and workplace experience designer.

Work of Love was born in a moment of insight - a realisation that an absence of love is keeping us from fully showing up at work. I’ve made it my mission to change this.

SAY HELLO

"Imagine a world where experiencing love at work was the norm. Imagine a world where nurturing workplaces were commonplace. If that was our reality, we may have already changed the world."

MY STORY

I have long believed the words of the poet Khalil Gibran that our work is love made visible. Work inspired by love enables us to make a lasting contribution to our world. And in turn, that work can positively influence the lives of our families, friends, communities, and dare I say, our world.

Having long been fascinated by work and how people can make a difference in the world, I took my parents' advice and began my career as an employment lawyer. After graduating from a Bachelor of Law and Economics Degree from the University of Western Australia I began my career at Ashurst (it was called Blake Dawson Waldron back then).

But, despite this successful start, I was miserable and knew I needed to find work that lit me up and allowed me to live my purpose.

Then I had a lightbulb moment: we’d lost our spark, because we’d lost our love (more on that below).

Deciding my strengths were much better suited to unlocking people's potential at work, I refocussed my career on people, learning and organisational development.

Education & Qualifications

I have a Graduate Certificate in Business (Organisational Coaching) from Swinburne University of Technology, I’m an Associate Certified Coach of the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Coach of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I’m also accredited in Birkman, Hogan Leadership Profiling, Team Management Profile (TMP) and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

Armed with knowledge and experience, I’ve spent the last 17 years on a mission to make love visible in our workplaces through love-centred employee experiences, coaching, event and workshop facilitation and speaking engagements.

I partner with a rich, diverse and multi-talented network of workplace designers, leadership facilitators and coaches to deliver big projects. By partnering with other consultants, I have the flexibility and resourcing to scale up quickly as my client’s needs change.

I look forward to working with you to bring love to your workplace.

EXPLORE MY SERVICES

THE LIGHTBULB MOMENT OF CLARITY & INSPIRATION

Many years ago, I was hosting a team meeting at work. To build connection before we jumped into the agenda, everyone opened a fortune cookie and shared the little message inside with the group.

Mine read: “Faults are thick when love is thin.”

I knew then what was so very wrong with our workplaces: we stopped loving and we started to exchange labour for money. And when something went wrong? We were dismissed. We’d lost sight of the fact that our best resources are humans who are hardwired to seek love and connection.

We needed to rethink work and the seed for Work of Love was born.

WORK WITH ME

The idea behind work of love

Putting love into action

Work of Love is a radically different approach that speaks to the joy of working in alignment with a deeper purpose to drive better personal and organisational outcomes.

It’s about making space for micro-moments of positive connection between co-workers, and between us and our work, to nurture loving workplaces that tap into our deepest motivations.

Through a variety of modalities, I get to the heart of engagement by helping people rethink love’s role beyond the romantic and rethink work beyond an exchange of time for money.

to unlock the human potential in organisations.

I pay my respects to the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which I live, love, work and learn; the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. I pay my respects to their Elders, past, present and generations to come.

As a refugee to this country which we now call Australia, I acknowledge that I have benefited from its colonisation and have a shared responsibility to work towards recognition, respect and reconciliation.

It always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.

I acknowledge the enduring leadership, resilience, wisdom, kinship, culture and connection to Country of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
